to be there when they resurface.
surrounded by people, but still
alone.
friends who call,
but only for themselves.
a family who would never let you in, for no paricular reason,
and who continues to push you away.
people who try to make up for their past actions, but are unable to form the words
"i'm sorry."
plenty of people who you climb mountains for, but
on time you slip up and that all goes away...
every human's biggest fear is loneliness.
every human's biggest want is reciprocity.
